How do I inform the patients about Post-Grav Serum™? |
-
An office brochure (like the picture) can be placed in the waiting room and exam rooms. They provide medical information as well as Q&A about stretch marks. These brochures will generate requests.
-
As you know, most patients will mention their concern about stretch marks sometime during their pregnancy. When they do, tell them you have a new postpartum serum that will help reduce their stretch marks.
-
The medication comes in an airless pump dispenser. The patient applies the serum to all the stretch mark areas once per day. They apply the medication just like a moisturizer. A bottle will last the average patient about 4-6 weeks.
What are the side effects? |
-
The side effects are extremely rare. Some patients may experience some flaking or minor redness. If this occurs, the package insert suggests changing therapy to every third day for a week, then every second day for a week, and by the third week they return to their daily application.
Can Post-Grav Serum™ be used during pregnancy? |
Will insurance companies pay for the medication? |
-
No - insurance companies do not pay for procedures they consider as cosmetic in nature. For example, breast implants, botox, collagen injections and other plastic surgery procedures are not covered.
How much more time will I need with the patient? |
-
Very little, as you can discuss Post-Grav Serum™ while you are performing other procedures.
-
The office brochure and package insert answers may questions patients have about stretch marks.
