Product Information

Indications – Post Grav Serum™ is indicated for the improved appearance of Stretch Marks. Use this therapy when you are no longer pregnant and no longer breast feeding your baby. This product is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. Use only on your skin and wash your hands after applying the serum. The typical therapy lasts six (6) months.

Caution - Like most pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and OTC (over the counter) cosmetics, Post Grav Serum™ has not been clinically tested during pregnancy or clinically tested during the months of breast-feeding. Therefore, like most other products, it should not be used during pregnancy or during the months you are breast-feeding your baby.

How to use – You may need to pump the bottle (5-10) times to receive the first dose. Apply a thin layer of Post Grav Serum™ to the stretch mark areas. Apply the serum around the same time everyday. Your skin should be clean and free of any lotions, moisturizers, or other products. A good time to apply the serum is following a shower or bath. Gently spread a thin film of serum over the “Stretch Mark” areas. Do not use too much as over application can cause irritation to the skin. There are about 50 pump applications in each bottle and should last the average patient about 4 to 6 weeks. If you apply too much serum or you have larger areas of stretch marks, the bottle will probably last 2 to 3 weeks.

Side Effects – A few patients with sensitive skin may experience some redness, irritation, or flaking of the skin. This can happen when you first begin using Post Grav Serum™. The irritation may feel like a mild sunburn or you may notice some redness where you have been applying the serum. This is usually caused by the retinol as it converts to retinoic acid on the skin. If this occurs, stop using the serum for a few days until the irritation and redness go away. Then begin using the serum every third (3rd) day for about two weeks. Then use it every second (2nd) day for a week or two. This allows the sensitive skin time to adjust to the retinol. Eventually, most sensitive patients can then begin using the serum everyday. If your skin will not adjust, stop using the serum and notify your doctor.

Moisturizers – Apply a good moisturizer a few minutes after applying the serum. It’s also a good idea to apply moisturizers often during the day as this will help keep your skin hydrated – so it does not dry out.

Sunscreen – It is recommend you use sunscreens whenever you are exposed to the sun.

Guarantee and Warranties – The manufacturer, distributor, or physician make no guarantees, promises, or warranties expressed or implied with respect to Post Grav Serum™. Stretch Mark appearance, or potential improvement of appearance, will probably be different from one individual patient to the next. The patient’s sole remedy for any claim against the manufacture, distributor, or doctor, of any kind, including, but not limited to a claim of negligence or claim of liability shall be limited to the replacement value of the purchased product.

Questions and Answers

Why do Stretch Marks occur?

Some studies suggest up to 90% of pregnant patients develop stretch marks. Scientific studies have not been conducted to determine the actual cause of stretch marks. Some physicians believe stretch marks occur when the skin is stretched during rapid weight gain such as during pregnancy. Some physicians believe increased hormones during adolescence and pregnancy can disrupt normal skin physiology leading to stretch marks. Some physicians believe genetics play a role as some patients develop stretch marks and others do not.

Can I use Post Grav Serum™ during Pregnancy or Breast-Feeding?

You should not use the serum while you are pregnant or during the months you are breastfeeding your baby. As with most cosmeceuticals or cosmetics, there are no studies conducted during pregnancy or breast-feeding and therefore safety has not been proven.

Is Post Grav Serum™ guaranteed to remove Stretch Marks?

No - there are no guarantees. Most prescription products prescribed by doctors for any disease are not guaranteed either. Physicians know that results can very from patient to patient. Different results can occur based on the patient’s personal genetics or even how well patients follow directions. There are too many outside factors that can influence how well products work and therefore, no guarantees are implied or promised. If you use Post Grav Serum™ for 3-4 month, as directed by your doctor, and you do not believe your stretch mark appearance has improved, you may want to consider alternative options.

Is there anyway to prevent Stretch Marks?

There are no published studies that guarantee any methods or products will prevent future stretch marks. What about other treatments? Some studies suggest a specific type of laser therapy may help improve stretch mark appearances. Other published studies suggest a prescription form of retinoic acid may also help. These two methods are the only therapies currently studied and published in physician recognized referenced scientific journals as possibly helping the appearance of stretch marks.

Can I use moisturizers?

Yes, use a moisturizer often as it can help keep the skin hydrated. However, do not apply the moisturizer immediately before applying Post Grav Serum™. It is best to apply Post Grav Serum™ first, wait a few minutes, and then apply a good quality moisturizer.

What if my skin begins to burn, irritates, or turns red?

The most common side effect of Post Grav Serum™ is irritation and redness. This side effect does not happen often. It is probably caused by the retinol as it converts to retinoic acid on your skin. Some patients with very sensitive skin can experience redness and irritation. If this occurs, stop using the serum until the irritation and redness go away – usually within a few days. Then begin applying a thin film of serum every third (3rd) day for about two weeks. Next, apply the serum every two (2) days for a week or two. Then begin applying everyday. This allows your skin to adjust to the retinol and retinoic acid. If the irritation continues - stop using Post Grav Serum™ and call your doctor for instructions.

Sunscreens

Most physicians recommend the use of sunscreens whenever you are exposed to the sun. You should always try to avoid sunburns. If you plan on being in the sun, make sure you use a good quality sunscreen on the areas you are treating with Post Grav Serum™.

Can I buy Post Grav Serum™ from a pharmacy, grocery store, or over the Internet?
